As long as I use exterior paint, I do not use any other clear coat...think about it...house painters don't "seal" a house when they finish :) I use 3 coats of each color. the only one I have sealed is one in which I used an interior latex...I got one of those small sample jars at Lowes. It is imperative to used a water based poly or it will yellow. See my post on the Missouri Star :) I have a couple on my house that are about 5years old...one is under a porch, one faces west, exposed to all the sun and weather. Both are still in excellent shape, holding up really well. Have fun!SarahZhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17848104380274247158noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3742403799525372418.post-35997316839514948912015-04-01T16:42:39.402-06:002015-04-01T16:42:39.402-06:00Do I need to put some kind of clear sealer on my b...Do I need to put some kind of clear sealer on my barn quilt over the paint?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3742403799525372418.post-80127522937188284632012-07-12T11:22:54.394-06:002012-07-12T11:22:54.394-06:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3742403799525372418.post-26235427032294094452010-05-25T11:00:22.498-06:002010-05-25T11:00:22.498-06:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Weez-draw-ernoreply@blogger.com
